Pet photography is more than just taking photographs, it’s about capturing the true essence, quirks, and character of your furry companion. Whether it’s a calm, soulful portrait or them mid action showcasing their energetic side, it’s about celebrating every side of their personality. Sessions are relaxed, fun, and designed to help your pet feel comfortable, confident, and completely themselves.
Based in Lancaster, I photograph pets across Lancashire, Cumbria, the Lake District, and the wider North West, bringing a friendly, down-to-earth approach to every shoot. Prices from £95.

During the session
On the day. We’ll meet at our agreed location, whether that’s Lancashire based such as a park in Lancaster, or a wood in Cumbria, or maybe a favourite spot in the Lake District or further afield.
I always begin slowly, giving your pet time to settle in — no rushing.
I’ll direct gently for portraits, but also let natural moments unfold for action or playful shots.
For dogs, we’ll take breaks and use treats or toys. For cats, if we’re indoors, I’ll use natural light and let them lead the way.
Viewing and ordering your images
Within 1-2 weeks, you’ll get access to a private online gallery where you can browse your images in comfort.
The gallery stays live for 30 days, so no pressure, take your time.
When you’re ready, just email me with the images you love, and I’ll send an invoice for payment of your chosen products, before placing an order with the lab.
Most importantly, there’s no hard sell, and you’re under no pressure to buy. The session fee covers the shoot, editing, and gallery — you only pay extra for the prints or products you choose on top of that.

FAQs
How long will the session last?
Usually around 60–90 minutes, but I let things be flexible. Your pet’s comfort comes first.
Can you work if my dog stays on a lead?
Yes — I can edit most leads out later (especially the thin, plain ones). If you don’t mind, leaving harnesses behind helps, but we’ll chat about what works best for you.
What if my pet is nervous?
No problem. I’ve worked with shy, rescue, or anxious animals before. I use a quiet camera, sometimes a longer lens, and always adapt to what makes them feel safe.
What if the weather’s bad?
We can reschedule at no extra cost if it’s too wet or uncomfortable for your pet. I want the day to feel good for everyone.
Can I bring more than two pets?
Yes, two pets are included, over that, I charge +£25 per extra pet (same household).
How far do you travel?
I cover up to 30 miles from Lancaster (LA1) for free. Beyond that, there’s a small travel fee (85p/mile), but feel free to ask, I’m flexible and happy to chat through options.
How do I make payment?
I will email you an invoice with a secure payment link where you will be able to pay via a choice of methods, including card, Apple Pay or Google Pay and options such as splitting the cost with Clearpay or Klarna.
